Tumblr is a lot more feature rich than Posterous ☀

Um, no it doesn’t.
Primary interface via email is not a user interface upgrade. Granted, it’s a nice option to have, especially if you dial into your Tumblr from an iPhone. But Tumblr already does that. Well, maybe not for videos, but I think that could be remedied in a jiff if enough of the Tumblr user base so desired.
One colossal missing feature — no custom CSS, in fact, no ability to pick a theme or even a different color scheme. Sorry, even my minimalist design minded self believes that to be a serious show stopper.
And traversing comment threads through emails seems more annoying than Jar Jar.
But hey, they got me writing about Posterous here and receiving some gratuitous publicity.
