Meme ☀
Ten years ago I was:
Working as a corporate code monkey, building an an interactive, dynamic testing facility powered by ISPF Dialog Manager, dynamically generated JCL, Assembler, TSO CLIST, REXX and IMS (an old school hierarchical database management system that is still in use at many big Fortune 500 companies). Though I left this well known charge card giant in 2001, my system still lives and breathes.
Five things on today’s to do list:
- Hit the recreation center and work out!
- Continue working on my Google App Engine project.
- Design and development of online course application and learning module system. Looking to outtask this to Moodle, but not sure Moodle is up to the job.
- Restock refrigerator with meat and vegetables.
- Daily Tumblr circuit.
Things I’d do if I were a billionaire:
- Build my own neighborhood hockey rink.
- Tour Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
- Buy Mrs. Naum a wonderful present.
- Give away the rest to family, church, charities and worthy nonprofit organizations like Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, and others devoted to feediing and caring for the poor.
Three bad habits:
- Procrastination.
- Not keeping up with friends.
- Fingernail biting.
Places I have lived:
- Pittsburgh, PA
- Homewood, AL
- Seattle, WA
- Miami, FL
- Glendale, AZ
Six jobs I’ve had in my life:
- Golf caddy
- Newspaper boy
- Retail clerk
- Pizza deliverer
- Computer programmer
- Corporate CEO
