Thank You for Not Unfriending Me ☀
So to my friends supporting Romney, I’m sorry to litter your newsfeed with annoying pro-Obama posts. I know just how annoying that is. And thank you for not unfriending me. I should be grateful for all of your posts. We live in communities, both geographical and work-based, that are increasingly segregated in terms of political ideology. It wasn’t always like this, but now we tend to live in echo chambers and that can’t be good for the prospects of all of us ever figuring out how to compromise and move the country forward again. Maybe hearing from our distant friends on Facebook is a first step towards realizing that supporting the other guy isn’t necessarily crazy, mean, stupid, or biased.
