The progressive brand is being burnt to the ground by Obama, this Congress and apologists for both. Progressives have become the sort of people who believe in health care reform that isn’t, highlighted by a public option which is so non-robust it will cost more than equivalent private coverage. Watching progressives scurry to take credit for a disaster has been extremely enlightening. Lemmings over a cliff thinking the promised land is at the bottom. Ian Welsh ☀
