Continued Tumblr Bookmarklet Bugs and Regression ☀
Back in June, the Tumblr bookmarklet was upgraded to include “indent” and “outdent” functions (as well as “insert/edit image” and “spellchecker”).

As of today (or actually yesterday or at some point over the weekend), this feature was rolled back.

Having to hand edit HTML to blockquote cited text should be an unnecessary exercise.
The great allure of using Tumblr has been the drop dead ease of posting as I peruse the Interweb. Lately, the act of Tumblr posting has grown more burdensome. Even worse, unlike previous incidents, when I log these bug reports, the Tumblr gnomes have become uncharacteristically irresponsive.

Perhaps the Tumblr developers all edit posts using Markdown or plain text/HTML instead of the rich text editor. I would have opted for Markdown when I first began on Tumblr but its implementation seemed incomplete back in the early 2007 days.
Top it off with the recent plague of sluggishness here, and a service that once was a joy is transforming effortless activity into a tedious chore.
