Continued Tumblr Bugs and Annoyances ☀
Aargh, editing Tumblr posts is incrementally becoming an infuriating experience — still, the existing bookmarklet bugs reported here a month ago have not been repaired, new annoyances continue to surface.
First, the stripping of HTML “href” attributes from links in copied text in link posts:
Second, the bothersome glitch where you can select an image to edit and the dialog box reveals an empty selection. Also, setting a HTML “style” attribute is stripped.
Finally, the latest irksome behavior — where any photo or video post is automatically wrapped in an HTML “p” tag.
Please, for the love of all that is virtuous, do not tart up my hand inserted HTML. I understand the need to remove script tags and other malicious or problematic HTML code, but my blog presentation is being needlessly gunked up.
