McCain has been an indifferent senator for Arizona at best. At best. He’s accomplished nothing to get the federal government to fund healthcare, schools and law enforcement hit by illegal immigration. He’s done little to secure funds to make Arizona higher education competitive in a worldwide chase for talent. Ditto on the public schools. Ditto on transit and train options for a highly urbanized state; indeed, he has waged a war against Amtrak. Jon Talton ☀
